Now is the Time to List Your Calgary Home

It’s a great time to list your home with the current lack of housing inventory in Calgary’s real estate market, good listings are being sold in less than 60 days on the market!

The Calgary Real Estate Board posted an average MLS sale price for single-family homes for February 2013 at $518,452, up 10.3 per cent from last year.

While other Canadian cities are experiencing a slower growth, Calgary is among one of the top markets in Canada.  Fueled by a healthy economy, high migration rate, and higher wages, Calgary remains an economic powerhouse.

Our luxury home sales also rose 50 per cent from last year with an all-time record set in February for the highest priced home sold.  The Aspen Woods home sold for $10.35 million surpassing previous record of $10.3 million in August 2009 Elbow Park/Glencoe home sold by former Calgary Flames goaltender Mike Vernon.
